Gani Color was founded in 1989 out of a passion for color and the desire to transform it into design, quality, innovation, and style.

The Origins
Gani Color was founded as an artisan workshop. The passion for color meets chemistry to serve the furniture industry with innovative initial formulations.

GANI Color is founded
GANI Color is founded, taking its name from the initials of Gaia and Nicolò. The company specializes in the production of special coatings for wood, plastic, and metal, primarily serving the industrial and furniture sectors.

1992-1994
Popemobile
GANI Color quickly established itself in the special coatings market. Among the most significant projects: the technical coatings used inside the Popemobile and some special finishes for Bugatti sports models, with an innovative tactile effect similar to leather.

Mid 90s
InSip
The company produces the coatings for the interior furnishings and corners of the 1,200 InSip points of sale, consolidating its reputation in the field of special finishes for design and retail.

Elekta is Born
The GaNi group expands with the creation of Elekta and the completion of the range with special resins

International expansion
Expansion into foreign markets begins and the GANI Group is formally established to distinguish the GANI Color industrial line from the new ELEKTA division, dedicated to the world of construction and wall decoration.

Olympics
GANI Group becomes the technological partner of the Turin Winter Olympics, creating the special heat-resistant metallic paints used for the 13,000 Olympic torches and the Olympic flame of the Winter Games.
